Description: Prior to the loss of his parents, Alex was a careful and hesitant pup. However, after his family and Pack was brutally slaughtered by the Army, he developed a taste for vengeance. He is now training to become a Sentry in the Pack of Dark Stones. He later on also ended up developing feelings for a dog named Sandy, something that put his loyalty to Dark Stones at stake. Ever since the loss of Sandy, he has become more closed-off, though he does still have his moments of openness towards those he cares about.
Physical description: Alex is a bulky young wolf, being slightly taller than is average for his age. He has a mostly short and smooth coat of a gray color, with darker gray ears and yellow eyes. His nose is a bit large.

Alex is the brother of our main character, Libby. Both are two orphaned young wolves who vow revenge against the ones who killed their parents. Alex is definitely the more confident of the two, though he was uncertain early on in the book.
