Description
Hortense, AKA Emerald's mother and the Smith's daughter! She doesn't like her family and heritage very much so she left her Smith apprentice position behind to join a Pack. She did end up giving birth to Emerald, however she gave her daughter to the Smith to raise as the next wolf to carry on the title in her stead. Hortense is...not a very nice person.
She's still alive and has joined a Pack called Leaping Rabbits, where she's a hunter.
