Piers did the first step 
For all Chris/Piers fans-> Love win again!! Chris totally forgot about Jill or Sheva or Wesker and spent with Piers 6 months (and fake his escape from hospital)
For those hwo don't like Chris/Piers-> Chris read that list, totally freak out and escape from hospital. For 6 months he was hiding before Piers but after all they met again in some bar in Edonia

Also I've always wondered why Chris was in a bar six months after having an accident and losing his memory. Β Cuz we all know Piers wouldn't have let him go like that, with no memories of who he was. Β Maybe Chris ran away just after regaining consciousness because he freaked out and didn't knew where he wasβ¦ That would explain why Piers was looking for him. Β But that's all just a theory of mine.Β

I'm not sure if there is an explanation of Chris behavior, but I think exactly the same-
after waking up in hostpital with amnesia and all I think he just freaked out and escape
from hospital. With not knowing who he is and what he's doing in Edonia (if he even
knows that...) it make sense that Chris starts to drink... a lot...
I'm really glad that someone thinks the same way about it
