Description
We were just introduced to drawing the human figure in various positions. This one was done by covering my whole page in charcoal and then erasing away to uncover the figure. It's similar to 'carving out' a figure, like you might with sculpture. This one was kind of hard for me to do because I felt so uncomfortable only using my eraser as a tool--and I couldn't go back and add charcoal to cover my mistakes, so I had to work very carefully in layers.
