Dash is only slightly older than AJ, also making her older than Pinkie and Twi.

Dash is the second shortest of the Mane 6, only taller than Pinkie.

Dash clearly has the body of an athlete and is built for speed rather than endurance.

After discovering her love for the Daring Do book series, Twilight convinced Dash to start reading to foals. Rainbow Dash now has her own scheduled story time in the Ponyville Castle Library (previously in the Golden Oaks Library) which promotes reading regularly.

While many ponies quietly ship Dash and Soarin’, the two stay as close friends and keep their relationship strictly platonic.

Once Spitfire retires, Rainbow Dash is voted in to take her place and become leader of the Wonderbolts, which she gladly accepts after a quick outburst of “OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH”.

Once Dash is spotted by Rarity and Fluttershy in the Ponyville Spa, she becomes more open about treating herself and being “feminine” and ends up regularly joining the girls for their regular spa time.
