FTW, I'm doing a theory on a week old game.

Anyway, I actually just thought of this quite recently and I feel like it could be the case what we have in the story so far of Bendy and The Ink Machine.

The first thing we need to know is... how could Bendy and Boris be, technically, real? In the real world? ...there's a tape in one of the rooms that could potentially explain this.

"At this point I don't get what Joey's plan is for this company. The animations sure aren't getting finished on time anymore, and I simply don't see why we need this... machine. It's noisy, it's messy, and who needs THAT much ink, anyway? Also, get this, Joey had each one of us DONATE something from our workstation. We put these on little pedestals in the break room to 'help appease the GODS', Joey says, 'keep things going'. I think he's lost his mind, but hey, he writes the checks. But I tell you what, if ONE MORE of these pipes burst, I'M OUTTA HERE."

It seems that Joey seems to worship, either Bendy and Boris... or the Devil, as shown by the pentagram at the end of the chapter. Or... A devil? Bendy is a devil! Joey could be worshiping Bendy who could be a depiction of the Devil! ...maybe. Bendy was most likely happy with the attention that he was getting from Joey, Henry, and the like. Plus, Joey must've hidden the pentagram from everyone so that no-one would know. Bendy and Boris being in the real world could most likely be due to how long it's been.

In the letter that Henry revives, his pal, Joey Drew, states that it's been thirty years since they worked on cartoons. 30 YEARS. That's a pretty long time. Bendy must have thought so too. He thought that Henry and Joey would've stayed with him, creating his cartoons with Boris the Wolf. But of course, that wasn't the case.
Finding the Ink Machine, he used the ink to write sayings on the walls such as "THE CREATOR LIED TO US.", "WHO'S LAUGHING NOW?" and "Dreams Come True". ...but "Dreams Come True" COULD'VE been written by Joey for his belief not being wrong.

Bendy must've written "THE CREATOR LIED TO US." downstairs first to show that both Henry and Joey didn't stay with him and Boris through the years like he thought. He thought that if either one of them came back and saw his note, they would've understood and stayed with him. ...it's all he wanted ...he wanted to bring them back... wanted to be with them again... but not with Joey killing his best friend.

Boris could've been used as a "cartoon sacrifice" according to Joey so Bendy could've been the main star all by himself. Bendy wrote "WHO'S LAUGHING NOW?" in the room where Boris was right after the ritual, most likely because Boris was a very cheerful character when he was with Bendy back all those years ago... or because Bendy surely isn't laughing anymore after what he just saw. All he wanted were his creators to come back... but not like this.

Bendy stayed in the workshop after what Joey did, furious... looking at the old drawings and cartoons and what Joey did Boris, but what he mainly did was sit in Henry's chair. ...one of his creator's chair. ...he wanted his creators to come back... in the way that he wanted.

Joey wanted Henry to know about what was going on and sent him a letter telling him to come to the workshop to show him something. ...he wanted to show Henry the entire workshop.

...sitting in Henry's chair, not knowing how long it has been since Joey "sacrificed" Boris... Bendy heard him: "Alright, Joey. I'm here. ...let's see if we can find what you wanted me to see."

ONE OF HIS CREATORS CAME BACK. Quickly running to a room that was closest to Henry, Bendy wrote "Dreams Come True" on the wall to Henry's right. Bendy's dream of one of his creators coming back came true... (Or it was written by Joey for his belief not being wrong.)

Bendy wanted to get Henry to fall into his trap, being himself painted a flat plane of wood, using the ink to travel though the workshop without Henry knowing, luring him through various parts of the abandoned place; spooking Henry throughout his plan. When Bendy saw that Henry found the Ink Machine and put all of the objects to make it work, he led Henry to the room where the button for the to ink flow was, but it was also where Bendy watched all of his cartoons from the past; poking his head to greet him from that room.

Bendy knew that Henry would be going to the Ink Machine Room right after, so before Henry could get to the Ink Machine, he concealed the room with wooden boards, only leaving a small area so that he could grab Henry. Bendy then burst a pipe so ink would be non-stop pouring out to make the entire workshop flooded. Henry could trip on the ink, and that could be Bendy's chance to keep Henry with him.

When Henry was going to the room, Bendy was turning insane. He wanted his creator to stay with him... forever... IN THE WAY THAT HE WANTED.

Henry seeing that the room was almost blocked off, a horrified and inked Bendy then appeared, scaring the life out of Henry. But Bendy couldn't see, there was ink on his face, covering his eyes.

"I gotta get outta here!"

Henry ran away from the demonic Bendy though the ink-flooded workshop, falling through the floor to the lower level, finding the last of Bendy's notes "THE CREATOR LIED TO US." and the pentagram.

And that's the end of my

There IS, however, a chance that Joey BECAME Bendy or vise versa, but I'm not too sure about that.
