The 2012 landscape calendar is now available . Check it out!Spot the little white heron on the right. It always hung around this area at sunrise.
Location: Tangolunda Bay, Huatulco, Mexico.
Equipment: Nikon D90 + Tokina 11-16mm.
Technique: Photoshop CS5 from 3 RAWs shot in 1.5 EV intervals. Hand-blended.

Ivan, you have such an unmistakeable style. I saw this in *Punkdiva 's sunrise/sunset feature and knew it was you the moment I saw the thumbnail. It is important to be recognisable like that, and your style seems much more developed than 99% of photographers on

Beautiful, as always... but I must say that I think a lot of your beach sunset pictures are over-saturated or something... or too much contrast? It's the first thing that comes to my mind, even on thumbnails.
Your work is, of course, known for vibrant colors but it never looks altered. This is an exception to that.

I think this, and your other beach images look over-processed somehow, and looks less natural. I'm not sure if it's the saturation or the contrast, but something about it looks odd.
