I pray the lord; three souls do keep,
Shield their spirits throughout the years.
Our memories help to ease our pain,
As winter winds begin to brew.
Flakes of white replace the rain,
A blanket covers autumn dew.
Morning brings the sun to rise,
Reflecting light with heaven's glow.
Three flowers planted side by side,
Three roses, standing in the snow.

Nothing cliche, emotions touched upon lightly. The subject matter doesn't connect with me personally, but I'm sure it does with many others and that is the most important part. The rhythm and rhyme were near perfect. Sometimes, the strict adherence to rhyme and rhythm allow the mind to focus less on the rhyme and rhythm and really understand the heart of the words. I think you accomplished that here. Very nice job.
