Description

Valerie sputtered, taken completely by surprise. Jessica’s sudden backhand caught a good portion of her left cheek and the side of her mouth, loosing a small spurt of blood that flew upward. Rocked and thoroughly rattled, she stumbled back unsteadily, and Jessica followed, stinging her with a pointed jab to her reddened eye. The jab set her up for the next attack, a strong right that re-angled the Ripper’s forced retreat to one side. From her compromised stance, Valerie swung a dire left hook that found Jessica’s chin and knocked a bit of spittle from her, but it did little to stop her advance as she bore down on her adversary. Before she even realized it, Valerie felt soft, yet firm resistance against her back that halted her movement; she found herself trapped in the Nova Striker’s corner.

“This is it…” Jessica thought as she observed her target. “I can put her down! But I have to move in now, before she can recover!”

Battered and under considerable duress, Valerie tucked her arms in, using her forearms and gloves to block incoming strikes when she could, though some of Jessica’s punches still managed to get through. Valerie fired back on occasion when she thought she saw an opening wide enough, and while a couple of her responses landed, Jessica made sure to answer back in force and keep her pinned tight to the corner. After noticing that Valerie’s guard had lowered slightly, Jessica stepped in close, a move which allowed her to add more power to her punches. At the same time, she twisted her upper body to deliver a brutal left hook that cut clean across the Brit’s jaw and left her dazed. Wasting no time, the nurse settled in and went to work on her captive patient, pulverizing the smaller woman’s face with a series of hooks. Valerie let out loud pained grunts as her head was thrown left and right, arcs of blood and saliva following it.

With a fierce grunt of her own, the raven-haired warrior grit her teeth and leaned in, driving a damaging sledgehammer of a left uppercut deep into Valerie’s unprotected gut. She gurgled as the blunt force pressed her back into the post, the upward thrust lifting her entire body a couple inches from the canvas.
