Another muse. I did this one during lunch today. About an hour forty five. Felt great, basically a speed paint. The photo I picked had a great face, and I felt it needed a bit more, and in lieu of recent events... (DA took down one of my images, then I censored it, to appease them, and they took it down again regardless) Anyway, I think it's pretty funny, and it bears a marked resemblance to a friend of mine I used to work with.Enjoy!

I've always liked your art. Your paintings have a certain style to them; how you can make a digital painting not look digital at all. Like it's been painted with a brush, not a computer - It's wonderful. Also, I love the kind of things you paint and how your not afraid to paint the taboo. I respect that. What a great face, I'd love to see the original for a comparison. The way you paint is so full of character, like it's exaggerated but also somehow more real than reality.
Just out of curiosity, what got censored? I missed it and have been looking for something to get pissed off about (I get the impression it had something to do with a wang, why does everybody always get so huffy about wangs?).

Papercut Smile is really good, by the way -- disturbs in a good, visceral gut reaction kinda way that makes me feel unsafe, which is my way of saying it's great art. I have no idea who reported it but I share in your desire to see them strung up by their own intestines. It's up to the individual to censor themselves, not a bunch of pansies who think they should dictate what is and isn't art.
Sorry for taking up your time with my long rant. Seems I've found something to be pissed about.

This has an erect thingy too! I wonder if it will be taken down ( I say that and immediately imagine a real wall and a picture removed by a guy in a brown gown). Anyway I never had chance to comment on the other image which is a bitch as it was tres good., especially the bloody cat.

the way you use bold strokes to paint skin makes your work very attractive, it retains an organic feel even though it's digital. Not to mention your expertise at lighting
