First off: wow.Β

Secondly: I'm sure you get asked this a lot, but what brushes do you use?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

IzzyMedrano In reply to theBellhop [2014-01-24 16:34:45 +0000 UTC]

Airbrush with noise, and a simple chalk brush for these. Β

I love it! The thing that they have no eyes just make them more interesting
The screaming one it's my favourite..maybe because of the expression: it's definitely different from the others and it comes out! same for the girl with long hair..i don't know, just her lips are able to tell a story
Keep it up! ^^

So creepy (though that's completely unrelated)

But I like these little studies, the colors are really nice.

DatMuffinMan [2014-01-23 20:25:43 +0000 UTC]

I am not sure if it is part of the series of studies, but some faces look a tad 'chunky,' if that makes sense. Namely the one on the bottom right and top middle for this piece seem to have bubbling surfaces.Β

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

JakkArt In reply to DatMuffinMan [2014-01-24 09:45:43 +0000 UTC]

chunky? it does say "block in"..plus the artist mimics the way a face lays with folds and wrinkles, pushes those features outward hence "character design" especially the males.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

DatMuffinMan In reply to JakkArt [2014-01-24 19:38:56 +0000 UTC]

I did not mean it offensively, but I was referring to the exaggerated facial features, such as cheekbones, etc.Β

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

IzzyMedrano In reply to DatMuffinMan [2014-01-23 21:01:10 +0000 UTC]

I don't think I follow. Β The top middle one is meant to be a 'little person'. Β Chunky bubbles coule be purposeful? Β Dunno
