Description You guys insisted again and again that I make a tutorial, even though I don't feel that I have the experience to tell you how to do anything. So instead, I'm just telling you how I do it.
This should be taken as suggested advice, this is not the only way to do it. But, I hope it helps!
Since there are a million things to learn about coloring and color theory, I figured a good place to start would be with the color red.
This should be the first of many to come. Later I will do tutorials on other colors and certain rules to keep in mind when coloring.

Also, as a note, all the colors I have in this tutorial I have taken from this color palette.

It's a great Palette I recommend you download it.
Also, if there are any other colorists out there who want to give me some hints as to how to do further tutorials, critiques are welcome.

Thanks a lot! I'm glad you like it!
I know! I wish I was there a year ago to teach me!

I only started coloring 14 months ago, I sucked for like 10 of those.

We need you to send the notes back in time. That'd do the trick!

I started 13 months ago. It's amazing how far you've come.

Nice tutorial, J! It's really nice of you to share your knowledge with others to help them out.

hahah Well there is no real "wrong" in art. It's just finding what works for us, and sometimes that changes frequently.

You're super nice to share what you know though, I know a lot of artists are very stingy when it comes to what they know and they cling to it with white knuckled fierceness. lol

I try and give back however I can.
I'll probably start with key colors and then move on to critical tips to keep in mind when coloring.
