O.k , where to begin! The only thing someone could critique here is, in my opinion, the right above corner which could need more light. Because of her darker skin and the orange clothe, a more wither point is needed for bringing out the center of the Image. All other things like Model, hair and clothe are beautiful! Because this is the first work I was stumbleover when I was logging in, I can't tell if this is your first or last work within this range of technique, but I saw so many diferent shots who's got the same content. And if I can give you a hint then notice that: colors are the main thing into photographics exposure, and that mean: handle with care! Light is the source with you will working on, and here you can say: more is less and back again. at least I throw you a mindcake: try to imagine the color of the clothe to lightgreen instead of orange and the background goes from dark to lightblue!

I am sorry but i think that your critique is unfair
And why?
Because you think is a good photo, besides the only thing that could be critique that is the lack of light on the right corner, with i don't agree at all. After that you explain about light in a photo what i think is the first think we must learn taking photos and i do that for 45 years, as a semi-professional with several magazines publications, editorials of fashion and advertising, exhibitions and two published books.
And in the end you talk about another photo with other colours and another background that i don't want to make, but this one with orange and almost black.
That is why i think this is not a critique and also your rating it's 2 stars, but you like it???

For sure not a problem.
I sure agree about a critique to the photo itself, as you say about the light in the right corner and about light in general, if you stop there i will agree with it and explain myself.
But when you are talking about another photo, because if i made it with other colours, that wouldn't be my photo and the one you are making a critique

Haha, that is abolutely great! And it's exactly what I would but not could because the CRITIQUE ruiles says you have to write 100 words (I think) So, what to do? Then came this content which is 'not this objective way'...,
Maybe you can change this rule into the widgets own parameters?
May I ask you a last question? 45 years of being photographer? Wow! Which Cam you was starting with?

As you can see after all we agree
I am not a photographer i am an architect, but since i was child i start to take photos and people say that they are different so i took more and more. After i won a contest of motor sport photography and i got a job for six tears when i am in university working for the magazine that make the contest, and i travel all around the world making photos of the formula 1, rally ,and motoGp championships.
Since then i use my spare time of my office to take photos and i was invited for several magazines to do editorials and sΒ«advertising, so is like my second job
I remember of an very old Kodak camera that i still have and my darkroom in my parents house
