Description
A little picture I whipped up today, depicting the characters my fiance and I (loosely) intend to play once we start EverQuest2.I couldn't decide whether or not to mark this as mature. The intent is innocent and the anatomy fairly featureless, so I hope this image won't offend anyone.
As for the characters themselves, though my character's race is considered to be neutral, the Iksar are an extremely anti-social and somewhat evil society, and so the chances of such a pairing are slim to none. But, as we know, love is blind...

I still play EQ2, and planning on EQN, this is amazing work.

I finally found other EQ2 players, at least it's not an Erudite and a Kerra or a Barbarian and an Iksar. This is absolutely beautiful, demonstrating knowledge of both human, feline and well... Iksar anatomy.

BEAUTIFUL work of art. I myself play on EQ2 as do my parents (they met on my EQ1 account).
I-... can`t describe how amazing this pice is. It looks so real but painted. I love the detail of the kerra`s ear and the iskar`s eyes, but all of it is done so perfectly. I don`t think it should be marked mature, nothing shows and it`s a perfectly beautiful pice of art.

Beautiful! I'm a little jelous of you because I've been trying to draw my Iksar for months now with no results at all. The textures are amazing and the character designs are simple, but brought out really well. Congrats on a great job!

Beautiful picture. I played an Iksar myself back in EQ1, and I think they got more of a bad rap than they needed. Besides, who can break the bonds of love these two have?

yeah, I know combinations of that kind... My girlfriend is playing Everquest, too and her Erudith is in love with an Iksar... very very sad story...

I know absolutely NOTHING about Everquest, but I still really love the picture.
And I don't think it's offensive at all.
...not that I'm ever offended by anything, anyway. XD

Haha, I'm glad you like it even though you haven't played EQ. Thanks for reassuring me about the content; while some art is meant to be controversial, this one sure wasn't!

Hey, no problem.
I know all about what's SUPPOSED to be controversial, since most of what *I* draw is. And your picture just doesn't seem like a big deal at all.

Hey Laz, glad to see you're still posting. Of course I haven't forgotten! - I'm just not turning out as much work as I should be (and a lot of what I do is private for the time being). I love drawing, but sometimes have the hardest time getting started, y'know? Hopefully I'll get myself workin' more now. ^^
Thanks for dropping a note, and nice icon~

I lurk around still - I have no where else to go really. Also banned from WC3C completely if you didn't know.
Yeah, getting started can be hard sometimes.
My icon err... it may be neat but if you notice - its the one (well the first part of just the eye) I used my decline of WC3C - its somewhat a symbol of my depression..

Yeah, I recognized the eye, but it wasn't animated last time I saw it, and I like the face too.
Why were you banned from WC3C? =\

When I first left, I said I'd come back do my part for the chain comic... after a long while I dropped by and said hi (Dark Angel still hadn't released his part). Shortly after some people ask to post my art, I said no. When they ask why not, I told them of my horrid time and treatment from before and the new moderator ICBM told me to shut up, go to hell, and don't come back.
Before my final boot out, I deleted my old thread destroying everything of mine left there and ICBM also though it be cool to have in banner in his sig saying that he killed the ghost of the art forums (which was referring to me).
So after all the random cursing from people like Wormskull, moderators telling me to go kill myself, no views, no rates, no comments on my work, and little and fast declining recognition and staus. I 'm gone for good. None of them really gave a damn, except the few who mad it their mission to push me away.
Not one of them has ever tried to email me or bother to come to my gallery. All them used me to color and pics for them and not one ever gave me anything in return. Not even a genuine thank you. Those who kept silent and ignored me are just as guilty.
WC3C was the most horrible place of people I ever met. They are the beginning of my decline and depression.
Heck being here at DA hasn't really been all that great either. Even less views and comments. Although, no one has gone all out of their way to drive me insane here... yet.

WC3C is a young and somewhat immature community, I'm not very surprised they didn't treat you considerately. I find this community to be much friendlier and considerate overall, though if you aren't lucky enough to get some good traffic it can be a quiet one, too.
Well, obviously yer better off without them.

Haha, might wanna check out the upcoming GuildWars - it'll be free, too, and much more PvP oriented (if you're into that as much as I am). 'Course, there's a monster-bashing side to it too, but I don't think that's nearly as revolutionary in GW.

Guild Wars is also from the same team that gave us Diablo II (wich I currently play) I'll probably give it a try when it comes out.

Yep, I agree it's better than Diablo! I'm lucky enough to be alpha testing it currently, and it's a blast.
Bun-Bun: GW is being made by ArenaNet which does have some ex-Blizzards, though I'm not sure how many are from Diablo. I know fo sho there's a guy from StarCraft!

The team that did Diablo II left Blizzard along with some other members behind other Blizzard titles and this is their first solo project.
Really need to get a new PC to play it :\ My actual one would just colapse. I wish Interplay made Fallout online..that would rock

Just to let you know, Guild Wars is AWESOME. Despite how simple it may be, it's really very fun with the w hole PvP thing, so long as you have a great team with gun people that are really roleplaying rather than being a bunch of dumbasses and insulting people constantly. =\ But yeah, I played it when they had their E3 for Everyone (which ended up being 5 days instead of 3 since people wanted to play so much ) and I can't wait until it comes out. >< Definitely better than Diablo, might I say.

Ya...probably. I don't play PvP in Diablo because I don't like it (my char kicks major ass hehehe )
And dumbasses are unfortenatly everywhere...
Looking forward to playing FFXI on my PS2 for some real roleplaying

Love is blind and the drawing is gorgeous! Look to the colours of it! My goodness! The lines, the innocence, even the love...
I don't believe this is mature. I've seen it "worse" without being mature.
Don't mind the pre requisists of a race when you do a drawing. They don't exist when you pass that barrier.

And I wish you the best of luck, both with your fiance, and with the game.

Anyway, great pic. *is making an Erudite Shadow Knight, since there won't be many Erudite fighter-types in the game, or prossible an Erudite Coercer*
If you applied for the Beta, good luck with that.

Hehe, thanks. Iksar and most other races have a mutual dislike thing goin on, probably started by the Iksar despising everyone else. Since the Shattering, though, the poor Iksar have been forced to live in Freeport with the rest of the evil races, and that's where my character lives, too. Not as far-fetched as it once might have been!
I do like Erudites, and might try one down the road. I'm sure you'll have fun with an Erudite melee, as they were one of the most rare classes in EQ1, too~
