I apologize for the size, especially for those of you with lower resolutions. Hard to see what's going on if I make it too small.

These are photos of a sculpture I did this spring. It's a character I'm calling a chimera, but obviously done centaur-style.

It was done with Sculpey, coated with dark grey primer, then painted with acrylics. I learned a -lot- throughout this process, and would never do the same sculpture again. It had structural issues and was way too big to stand up in my oven, so had to be baked on its side (over and over), causing stress and cracks. Worst of all, it fell out the bottom of a folding box while I was transporting it and had to be super-glued half to death. Thank goodness for thorough armatures.

She hasn't had a very easy life, to say the least. I hope you enjoy regardless.
