Leone could tell this area had suffered a severe amount of flash-flooding. The ground can barely contain the amount of rain it received and unabsorbed water gurgles out to fill its footprints through the new runoff ditch running through the forest. The smell that had drawn it here wasn't pleasant, and it seemed like only scraps were left, but a meal is a meal. It drags the luckless find to dryer ground (though it still squelches under Leone's weight as it lays down) and peels back the mildewed fur to see what can be salvaged of green-black meat and worms. Rot can sustain it, but never for long.

Following the unprecedented storms that swept through the Domain, life for loners will become particularly challenging during the fall. While the floods and rains remained locked to the eastern part of the continent, the effects can be felt in all corners. Normal land passes for prey have been disrupted, forcing odd behavior and migration patterns to emerge that mirror a time from before when the Hive was beginning to heighten. Supplies are hard to come by and those that are found tend to be limited or premature, leaving many loners hungry and hurting. How does your wolf fair with these butterfly effects? Does it remind them of times of war, does it unnerve them in new ways, or do they find themselves in their element with scavenging for scraps?
