The first bird I shoot with the new camera. It could become my new fav photo category.I don't now what kind of bird it is... but he was extreme loud and I was hunting around the trees 3 times till I got him

real good shot, it's cool to see another digital SLR out there doing birds
That 300mm on the d-100 makes it a 450mm doesn't it.
you should check out the bird shots i got with the D-1 and D-1x.
