I have a ferocious love of How to Train Your Dragon. Toothless is my happy place. Drawing him always makes me feel calm or just cheers me up. Id be lying if I said he wasn't part of what inspired Jack (along with Haku and No Face from Spirited away, vultures, otters, and ferrets). I credit Toothless with making me look at drawing differently. I believe drawing him helped me improve movement and silhouette in my sketches and art.Done with MyPaint

I honestly feel very similar about Toothless and HTTYD in general. Drawing him is the only thing I've really enjoyed as far as my art, and I cannot draw anything without including toothless somewhere, somehow. He also has helped me look at drawing in a different way. My proportions, shading/lighting, and more have improved while drawing the dragon that brings me happiness. He's cheered me up when I'm feeling down, and he still does to this day. Kinda weird that as an 18 year old I still look up to a cartoon character, but whatever lol.

I kinda tackle him like any 3d object in real life id draw! like a person really. I break him down into basic shapes
