FEAR
What Yetta fears most is losing her loved ones. Stubbornly refusing to believe that the Blood Moon is an act of magic or an ill omen, she holds on to the notion that the Kol have simply used this phenomenon to illicit fear from those weak-minded enough to listen. Still... she fears for her friends' and family's saftey, believing that the Kol are a threat needing to be dealt with. She fears losing those she loves to the fear, and most importantly, to the idea of magic that has captured everyone's interest.
I wanted to do a more symbolic piece this time. The idea is that the Blood Moon has sorta "absorbed" and "trapped" her loved ones' souls. It also symbolizes one of her deeper fears: Yetta is extremely intolerant of magic. Even if it is proven to be real, she will consider it to be a corruption--a disease. She fears that her loved ones' will become infected by it and will eventually be lost to her.
