You know, the past couple of times I've tried to suggest a DD, it's such a pain trying to find the proper Community Volunteer to send it to. (I think some of them I might have sent it to the wrong one). As far as I know, the CV you send it to is based on the category that the submission was put under. If that's the case, can't they make a 'suggestion' button that will automatically send it to the CV? Seems like this would help some lesser known artists become contenders for DD's if it's easier for people to suggest them in the first place. Though it might make a lot more work for the CV's.Anyway, just a thought.

Ah, that's a fantastic idea! Yeah, as it stands the only ones who can get DDs are those whose fans (or discoverers) know the long, complicated procedure to submit... so this is great. And you could even be more stringent on time limits: one a week, one every two weeks, etc.

I agree! For something that should be ENCOURAGED it's exceptionally hard to submit art for a DD!
Like you said it would get some lesser known artist some acknowledgement!

Though I would support this, I think this will cause a great rise in the amount of dA staff, since clicking a button is MUCH easier than sending a suggestion to the staff yourself. And you know how dA is: "More work for us? Nuhuh, not gonna happen!"
What could be done is to add it to one of the small buttons since you want to "share" the image with other deviants. It is less likely to be clicked (especially if it is placed under the arrow), so maybe dA will concider implementing it.
Have you posted a forum post? The suggestion forum usually attracts more staff than a deviation itself.

Well, there's a rule that you're only supposed to suggest one DD per day or something like that. If you suggest one, it shouldn't allow you to suggest another for however long that time is. I doubt they pay much attention to it.
