So I promised you yahoos that I'd put up pictures of Optimus while in progress. So...here ya go. The gun, torso and helmet are just about done in these pics. The helmet needs some touch up and the silver grate-thingy to go in the front on the top. The gun's done. The torso needs the windows I made glued on and another coat of red. Then some detailing and whatnot. I started the arms and legs today. I might just have this fucking thing done by Friday night when i go into the city. Who knows? Stranger things have happened.Keep in mind that this whole costume is a rush job.

Whatever! It's awesome, James. Reminds me of the good ole days when I'd piece together masks using nothing but paper grocery bags, crayons, and scotch tape. Mind you, I was probably 6 or 8 at the time, but I had fun. I'm sure I made a Voltron mask and a Tundercats mask. I would actually get tape for Christmas I went though so much of it! To this day, I love the office supply store.

Sweet jesus man that rules. The gun is especially cool. Wish I could even attempt to make a costume half that cool. I want to be leatherface but I can't even pull my finger out and make a costume for that. Can't wait to see the final thing.
