If you follow me on facebook or tumblr, you’ve probably already seen this a while ago. If not, haza, see it again for the first time! Although it’s a little different from the picture I posted before. I didn’t like the loincloth I originally drew, so I changed it.
This was a warm up sketch that once I got going, I liked too much to just lump it in with the regular bunch of tablet sketches. Normally I have much more control drawing on paper than I do on the tablet so I just use the tablet for loosely drawn warm up sketches. But this turned out much better than I thought it would. I did almost loose it to my own stupidity. I must remember to SAVE OFTEN! Thank god it was in the early sketch stages and copy and pasting into photoshop saved me from loosing the pose.

Some of the tiger reference came from Tampa, Florida’s Big Cat Rescue’s facebook page .

I pondered giving him an extra set of arms since some Rakshasa have four arms, but with the wings, he has a lot going on there as is. I could still add more arms, but I may save that for a different picture.
