I just returned from a trip to Mallorca, an island I've never thought of visiting. It all started with a blind booking Eurowings ticket my girlfriend gave me as a birthday present. The idea behind Blind Booking is simple, you choose a topic (hiking, culture or beach for instance) and you get a selection possible locations. For additional 5€ per person you can remove a location from that list. Once you are happy with your list you hit 'GO' and you randomly get a location and a flight in your designated timeperiod. In our case it was Palma de Mallorca. Actually I am very suprised about the beauty of those mountains there and it really was great to jump in cold water and to do something totally unexpected and unknown. Furthermore it was still possible to find "remote" locations even on an island that is mostly known for it's party tourism. Hope you like this first impression of my trip!
