I like New Super Mario Bros, and I'm looking forward to it on the Wii U, but dang it, did Nintendo seriously have to use those boring Toad guys again!?Come on, why not have Peach and Daisy join in!? Or heck, Toad and Peach, if you want to relive the SMB2 days.

I never care much about Mario's plot, but dang it, Peach getting captured has gotten pretty old by this point.

in new super mario bros 2 i thought from the mass number of coins was the plot being marios coins have spilt from his giant safe and they've been scattered and the raccoon leaf reappears

I'd prefer Peach and Daisy, especially since Daisy only gets used in spinoff games nowadays. And like my sister pointed out, it'd be a bit more appealing to girl gamers.

I have that version and has played through it once. Truly a good game with very good music. But I didn't care to rescue the toads indeed.

Replace the toads with Yoshi's! They're cooler AND you can ride them! Plus, who wouldn't want a mount that can EAT the bad guys?!

My friend actually made a shirt that said STUPID TOAD and it had picture of toad beneath it because she was so pissed because Toad kept getting in the during multiplayer

I know that I (and probably many other gamers) have been trying to kill Toad ever since I could throw fireballs at him in SMB3, so I tend to have a negative reaction any time I see him.

I always jump on the toads in Mario Galaxy. I can't kill them, but I can hear them whine under my weight.
In the first Mario game if you look closely at Toad's sprite he's giving you the middle finger...
