POWERS/SKILLS: She can shoot lasers from her fingertips. Currently she can shoot two at a time at full power, but beyond that and the lasers get individually weaker. She can also control the lasers' strength. The beams themselves are usually kinetic energy, but at their strongest, they'll start fires.
WEAKNESSES: Using her power is like stretching a muscle, so she'll grow tired in time and not be able to do much of anything. Beyond that, she's a normal human being, with all that entails.

BACKGROUND: Lucy grew up with a largely idyllic childhood. She got along with her parents and had plenty of friends. At age twelve, she noticed a weird itching in her fingers. Soon afterward, she was shooting lasers out of her fingers. After the fire department did their work, Lucy was enrolled in classes to harness her abilities ("super special needs classes" are her term). Naturally, she became a superheroine once she came of age.
Laser Lass entered the public eye when she dated media darling, Meteor Man. It didn't work out so well. Nowadays she'd like to fight crime and move on from that.
PERSONALITY: Lucy is bubbly, perky, and happy-go-lucky. She's also a bit on the sensitive side and prone to tears. But with that sensitivity comes a genuine compassion for others, and she likes to make folks happy. She likes saving people, but she'll also be thrilled if she simply makes a sad person smile.
She also gets really upset if you suggest she shoots lasers out her butt.

-Laser Lass was first mentioned in Another Phone Call , and then again in Super OC Interview - Damnsel . At that time I figured I needed to actually make her, if only to find out why Damnsel was so mad at her.
-Her name is indeed inspired by the actress, Lucy Lawless.
-She likes video and computer games, and she's pretty darn good at them. Crowds sometimes form when she plays arcade games. She still does well under pressure.
-She sometimes says "Pew! Pew!" when shooting her lasers, because she can.
