Description
Another chapter risen to a level of detail that I can be happy about.Wiki: [link]
This one hasn't been updated as much as it should, check the message threads for the more interesting details.
However, here's the basics:
The Guardians Exemplar are a chapter of Ultramarine descent, with one exception. Their geneseed was an attempt to 'fix' the flaws in the Ultramarine geneseed. "But Jared," you say, "The Ultramarine geneseed doesn't have any flaws!" That's where you're wrong! Guilliman himself. The Adeptus Mechanicus attempted to reverse engineer the geneseed back into the pure genes of the Emperor, removing the middle-man as it were.
Whether or not they succeeded, the Guardians Exemplar see themselves as the most pure of chapters, above even the Ultramarines and on par with the Adeptus Custodes. This makes them extremely arrogant and hateful towards any chapter with flaws, even minor ones, or that doesn't follow the Codex Astartes.
They are of course devout followers of the Codex, which for the most part makes this chart fairly standard. The exceptions, though, are extremely important.
First: The chapter has a sect of the machine cult that stays with them, fawning over the chapter as "The Perfect Space Marine". some of them even view the chapter as a scale model of the God-Emperor in his prime.
A gift from this sect came in the form of a unique vehicle weapons mount. Chemical weapons similar to the chem cannons the Imperial Guard uses. These unique weapons are mounted on bikes, land speeders, and whirlwinds. Descriptions of each of their uses can be found on the wiki.
Second: The chapter holds a title known as Plurimus Tersus or 'None Purer'. The holder of this title holds the position of the chapter champion and head of the Honor Guard.
Third: The chapter believes that only the most pure of marines, even amongst their own ranks, are worthy of being entombed in a dreadnought. Thus, only former chapter masters and former Plurimus Tersus marines are entombed. This gives the chapter far fewer dreadnoughts but each was the single mightiest warrior of his time.
Thanks to for the template.

Thank you. As an extra note, all of the company titles are references to a Latin word that describes a virtue of one of the nine loyal primarchs, with the 10th company having the duel meaning of "Hopeful" and being fairly similar to the name of the Thousand Sons home world.
