Mermaid Eclipse! Earlier this year while out in the middle of the ocean, I unexpectedly saw an eclipse at sea. It was amazing, and definitely inspired this painting. The corona of the eclipse is mirrored in the eyes of the mermaid - the red glow really does occur sometimes when the sea is lit by the eerie light of an eclipse.... My own original acrylic painting. This is a brilliant concept, but could you
make it a little bigger so we can see the
details better? It's incredible from what
I can see, but I would wager it has sweet
details in higher resolutions. Grats on the
