Okay can I just speak my mind on this? This isn’t criticism or feedback. It’s judgment. I hate alter egos because they’re an easy excuse for the creator to showcase their bad behavior. That’s what Thunder Blight is. A terrible excuse for Lightning to strawman her bad behavior. Let me ask this question. Has anyone in these types of fictions told LB to shut the fuck up? To stop being a melodramatic little shit?! It’s such a bold idea it should be CRAZY enough to work! But no one has done that. has to be someone in this community who isn’t a coward. To say what I suggested.

What’s cruelty without ulterior motive? How about Lightning Bliss’s ulterior motive for having a second form other than to cause trouble?

Very well I don’t mind a civil discussion as long as you remain polite. As to alter egos, I would disagree with it being related to an excuse for creators to display or justify their “shitty” behavior. I personally see it as a creative opportunity for the creators to explore the opposite side of their personalities. It brings that person out of their comfort zone without causing any “real world” harm to anyone. It really narrows down to basic psychology and artistic character design and skills when you look at it.
As for Lighting Bliss creating Thunder Blight, I don’t think there is any cruel ulterior motive. The artist behind the Lightning Bliss channel, Emily I believe her name is, is a business woman as well. She is one of the very few lucky artists out there who was able to make a decent business from something she’s passionate about. And from a business perspective, it makes sense for her to create a new character that gives her chance to exercise her art and writing skills and have a new product to sell in the form of prints, plushies, stickers, pins etc. No trouble but a new character for new videos and in this came, Comics. Harmless fun.
