Re-uploaded-Mocked up a quick painted version of the BG on this one as to comply as the previous version was removed.
Same image again, just changed the BG out and painted the new one. Sorry for the re-upload. Old image, I know.

Hmm... I still can't really become friends with your interpretation of the faces of Sonic characters. Other than that I'm afraid that I have to add myself to the masses by saying the usual "The details are amazing, brilliant etc.". I may not adore your way you draw Sonic characters, but I am still a slave and great fan of your nearly masochistic way of drawing that elaborate amount of detail in your artwork.
Thanks again for your wonderful art and you being a source of inspiration to all Sonic fan artists. And since I am still a Sonic fan somewhere deep down in my shrivelled heart, this piece shall wander straight to the gallery of my favourites.

As someone said in a previous comment "it's an oldie but goodie", and I totally agree. ^^ This new background looks extremely good, mainly because it suits Sonic and his friends so well since the "squared pattern" is a well known characteristic from the Sonic games.
Haha I love their outfits so much, as I said before the amount of detail is insane (in a very good way too XD) and all the buttons, buckles/belts, zips, pockets, chains, goggles, headphones and so on look really stylish and cool... even though they're so detailed it's still pleasing to the viewer's eye. ... I love Knux outfit... he looks awesome in it. (though my fav character is definitly Sonic, I love his pose btw...)
And the fact you used cell-shading makes it even more appealing.
I don't think I can critique your art ._. ... sorry.

What?! Jeez louise can the moderators find something worth while to whine about?! For crying out loud what you did was creative, not stealing or copywrite infringement. Meanwhile countless extremly sleazy near-porn devations are being uploaded and noone does a thing...but hey we got that guy to quit creatively using screenshots! *ugh* Anyhoo, I love this work, it's really good. To think that the dA Gallery Directors or whoever were fussy about the background, surely they're supposed to consider how time-consuming the characters were alone, not to mention as have everybody else said, the detail that was put into it. Well let's hope that they don't make the sam mistake a second time. Quick question, not sure if you've mentioned how long but exactly how long did it take for you to do this piece? I'm sure the characters alone took at least a standard work day or something

Funny how sometime ago people used to say that I was sooo patient and that I did the collest little detail.... Then I came into DA and found YOU! It's just AMAZING how much patience you have with the smallest of smallest details!!!!!! It really is a wonder! This might be old but this is one of the first pieces (if not the first) that I've ever seen you do and I loved it so much that I haven't stopped watching you since ^^!!!!
Your work really inspires me and well the one word to describe it is AMAZING..... I think there are better words to describe it but my vocab is very low XD!
I love how everybody looks but my favs are Amy, Tails and Rouge. They loook so good and the clothes you've designed for them are astounding (sorry for miss spells)! I wish I could see what Sonic, Rouge, Shadow, and Doc. Eggman were wearing better. but from what I can see already it's magnificent! ^^!!!!! Not to mention Knux loooks hot like that (And I'm a Tails fan XD)!
Anyway I'd say more but my vocab is way too low for that and this comment already sucks XD!!! Love your work ^^
