Personality: Prim is extremely optimistic and curious. She has faith in everyone and everything and her optimism usually rubs off on those around her. She is always open for new opportunities and loves adventures. She is very free spirit but can be irresponsible. She is also very impatient. Not to mention she can have a little temper but she usually will forget about what she was mad about. She has a huge heart and the great ability to forgive. Prim Feathers is also a bit slow due to her disability but doesn't let that stop her. Most just shrug off her slowness as being "blonde" and weird. She is actually very weird and dork though but she embraces it.

Past: Prim Feathers mother turned to alcohol during her pregnancy after her husband left. She ended up falling down the stairs while she was drunk. Prim was born premature and due to belly trauma she had brain damage. Her disability caused her to have fits and tantrums when she was young and was sent to a supervised group home to keep her from harming herself. Her mental abilities affected her learning and social skills so she couldn't go to a normal school. Her cutie mark appeared when she was pretty young and living in the group home. She was having one of her fits because one of the other younger ponies wouldn't share the beads for the bracelets they were making. She stormed off without permission crying and found her way to the edge of a clearing under some trees. While she was basically yelling at her bead-less bracelet a bird above in the trees was startled and flew off leaving a few feathers behind it. Prim watched the feathers drift down and they relaxed her. They landed at her hooves and she got the idea to put them on the bracelet. That moment sparked her passion for creation and while prancing around her cutie marked appeared. From that day on her optimism and joyfulness pushed her to learn and her recovery sped up at an unbelievable rate, faster than any magic therapy she ever received from her doctor. Her mother's was the complete opposite and spent most of her daughter's childhood in rehab. Prim's recovery hit another miraculous increase after she meant Sunn Sprout and their friendship blossomed.

Present: Prim's recovery baffled doctors with her ability to adapt and cope with new and difficult life experiences. Her disability is still there but only causes her to be a little bit slow and dyslexic. Her friends accept her either way which helps drive her and most ponies aren't even aware of her problem unless they are told about it. Her mother was released from rehab and ended up moving to a retirement home. Prim volunteers there and even has a room to stay. She loves helping the older ponies with diseases and disorders by setting up activities like making jewelery and painting. Prim also stays with Sunn Sprout at her nursery and likes to help her out too. In return Sunn lets Prim sell some of her homemade accessories at the market with her. Others enjoy her quirky unique style for her jewelery and are always willing to buy something.
