Description A calico feline, the main character of a novel I'm working on, and her bedroom.

I'm never quite sure if I should classify these sketches as digital or traditional art, since the lines are pencil and the colors are digital.

All of my pictures start out on paper (I just never got the hang of digital sketching) but I still classify them as digital by the time I'm done. I'd guess whatever you prefer to categorize it as is fine. As for the picture itself, between the heater and the scratch pad, that looks like one comfy kitty.

Yeah, same here!  I've tried digital sketching a few times, and sometimes it comes out okay, but there's something about the feel of pencil on paper that I just can't quite do without.

The reason I'm unsure is because usually I "ink" the lines digitally, but I didn't do that with these ones.  Still, I think it's likely more digital than not, so that's how I'll classify it.

You know, I was worried that it wouldn't be clear that that was a heater, so I'm glad the picture is understandable.  ^_^

The watercolor technique really is interesting. In all honesty, I think I like it more for some pictures than others (the space hamster is my favorite) but this one isn't bad. I guess with the watercolor it's hard to tell what colors Lindsay is supposed to be. I love her bookshelf though, it gives so much of her personality.
