Ya know, this is a snazzy-looking group shot, especially when I consider it in comparison to the similar SatAM group shot you did this with. Bunnie, Rotor and Uncle Chuck are all in the same poses and have the same facial expressions as before, with the only indicator that anything has changed about them being their wardrobe. Antoine, meanwhile still wears the same outfit he wore when SatAM was on ABC and the comics were comedic. Still, his personality changes are apparent with the addition of his sword and a much harder look on his face.
Of course, that other piece should have been easier, since it would not have taken as long to choose the characters. In this case though, we also get the essentials to a point. Sonic's parents are in, alongside Uncle Chuck, all deroboticized (even Jules!) as a nice touch. Knuckles appears as one of the few pure essential Sega Sonic characters in the Comic, with only three of his fellow chaotix. Archie-born Julie-Su, not to mention Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel, in both cases on top of a lot of gravitas from fans, always naturally compensating for what little attention Sega gives them.
To be fair, you could argue that Amy should've been in this, since she is also a Freedom Fighter. But, then I realized that she somehow avoided being captured by Dr. Eggman when he destroyed Knothole, a fortune that most of the characters in this picture weren't granted. With that, I decided that keeping her out was the same kind of fair compensation that Mighty and Ray get on a regular basis, so it was justified.
