Here's a simple character design I did a couple of weeks ago and forgot to submit it here lmao. The green eye and pulsing veins looks very cool, while the surrounding (I assume) cyborg augments are mysterious and interesting. The black gem in the forehead feels flat to me, which is fine if it’s a tattoo like the shapes around it but if it’s supposed to be a physical, weighty object I don’t get the feeling of depth. The skin and armor and decorative elements all feel professionally done and the overall feel is very dark but intriguing.
There’s one kind of major thing I don’t understand about this character; what is their hair? I really like the gray-blue-purple shining on every individual thread and hanging down around them in a classic frame, but below those follicles I see what looks like some kind of dark black cap or mass of thick hair. Is the thinner hair I can see real? Is the dark space below also hair or some kind of wig cap? Maybe you didn’t add enough individual hairs to cover up the black placeholder, or maybe the dark under section is intentional for an augmented character.

Thanks for the critique, I appreciate it. It's tattoos that are around the gemstone, so it's flat.
In regards to the hair, I'm not really sure exactly what you're trying to point out. But the gab is where light doesn't hit that area of the hair. The rest is just dark aurora around the character.
