it was part of a display that a friend was putting together for a museum piece.

I really like the overall tone and how that might reflect the atmosphere and subject matters. It creates an air of.. age, as well.
The slight bokeh in the background is pretty cool, and the focusing isn't bad either. I'm not particularly fond of the positioning/framing, but other than that, it's quite an intriguing shot indeed.

i agree the framing is just off. i was determined to get a shot of the dolls because i admired the craftmanship and it was not easy to position myself with how the display was set up. i'm not even sure i was supposed to be taking pictures of them also. so in lieu of proper framing i went for depth of field.
