Description While the transfer shed project is successful so far, it has been slow and somewhat tiring.  When a friend asked 'any new engines?' I realised it has been around six months since my last N Gauge engine.

Result: multiple new plans!

I've had a few ideas slowly ticking over requiring motorised chassis (costly), so in the interim I've devised four new engines to build (plus an improved tender for Sans Pareil).  Bit by bit I'll be working on these of the year, and the first tentative steps of three of them are here.  I'm particularly proud of the two coupling rods - 13mm x 1mm and hand-cut/drilled from sheet metal.  Always learning new skills!

Can anyone guess the three...?

EDIT: #1 is complete - the former loco bogie became a Wickam Trolley.
EDIT: #2 is complete - the LMR engine 'Gazelle'.

Not this time, but have a few ideas in that direction for the future.

Good guesses, though have already built them (a better 'Lion' is a good idea though).  The 0-4-0 has gone faster than anticipated and is already in the paint shop.

I'd guess some kind of 4-2-2?

There is an 0-4-2 in the mix, so close.    As a clue, the others are a 2-2-0 and an 0-4-0.

Ooh, so I'm guessing something LB&SC?

Again something recommended to me only recently, but these are more unusual one-off's.  I'll be uploading some pics/descriptions once I have the rolling chassis completed.

Perhaps one day, but had my fill with the working motion last time!
