CL-0936 was a clone captain in the 793rd assault battalion in the grand army of the republic and was lead by Jedi Master Nete Crerri and clone commander Stenger. Rafe was born and raised on the planet of Kamino and would go on to fight the separatist's droid army with his brothers in the 793rd. Rafe was formally a lieutenant and was originally in charge of Beack company Padawan Braac Ravott was also placed under his watch during battles. This made Rafe and Braac good friends during the war and they both have saved each other's lives several times witch furthered their friendship.

But this friendship was ended when Rafe received order 66 and attempted to kill the Padawan but was prevented from doing so by CB-9928. Rafe would turn half of the clone trooper personal on the Jedi command cruiser against clones that believed order 66 to be a separatist trick. Rafe brutally killed anyone that stood between him and Jedi calling them all traitors to the republic. He battled his way to the bridge of the ship and met his end not at the hands of his former general but by his commander.
