This photograph inspires in me a kind of sorrow, and a protective instinct. The person looks beaten, broken, yet still with the beauty that lies innately in her soul. I've always been a fan of this pose, but you've taken it to a whole new level. I like how the angle of her shoulders contrasts the askew nature of the background. A top-quality photograph, I can find nothing to improve in this, really I can't.

Haunting. The photo projects such empathy that I want to hunch my shoulders against the weight of the shadows. I feel that this woman has lost everything but her dignity, and she is holdiing onto it for dear life. I am inspired. Thank you.
