Alright, Time to explain myself before any pitchforks are thrown at me. Rock pokemon are very weird creatures. Have you seen what they can do? Take Golem and Onix for example. They can fall apart into itty bitty little pieces to destroy their enemies and then put themselves together again as if dismemberment was nothing. And then we have that classic attack move Explosion/Self-Destruct. Pokemon have found ways to explode and survive. Guess who can learn that lovely attack move? Lunatone. Now I'm not saying this beloved moon of Miguel's knows that attack at all, but if it can survive self-destruction, it can survive falling into bits. Unfortunately, since the moon has never learned how to explode, she doesn't know much on how to put herself back together again. This catastrophe is kind of a first time for the space rock to deal with.
How the hell is she still conscious after a freeze like that? The moon wasn't and was totally K.O.ed when it fell. Lost that battle. Fainted, broken, battered and bruised, probably even permanently scarred, but! Not dead. Batteries ran out. I like to think of her like a giant floating battery. A lunar battery living off of moon rays. Just need a full moon (convenient right?) and she'll be recharging like no tomorrow. Not exactly the move Moonlight though as that would have allowed her to recharge fully, even put herself back into one piece anytime, whiiiiiich she is not that lucky to have learned.
So how the hell do you kill a lunatone? Remove the eye. It's a very strange eye. It's like the heart. The everything. The core. Many miners have plucked out these eyes during their moon stone mining because they sell for quite a hefty price. Although those purple gems are pretty special too. That's where the memories are stored of Space, of Earth, of every experience, and every mind it has read. It's like a rock brain. The moon is litterally now a scatter brain.
I'm thinking it feels a different kind of pain than organic creatures though. I don't think they have any nerves, but perhaps they are very intimate with their 'memories', able to relive these moments in their minds if they so wished and to remove or damage these memories, their purple gems, their insides is like removing their very soul. It may not be physically painful, but it sure is mentally/ emotionally painful.
Ooooor maybe rock pokemon really do have nerves I don't know *throws my bs theories at you all and runs*
=============================
Sorry other 'innocent' rogues, no telling yas about the crazy stuff happening over your head. Don't want to risk any more bloodshed.
Which is quite silly to say because Miguel is pretty much Risking Teddy now. But if Miguel has learned anything, it's that you don't ever go on a mission alone because somebody will certainly die if you do. *stares at Tot*
Aaaaaaand where those ex-rogues are hiding at is curruntly at a battery, a station where they put giant guns at which they put away now that guns don't work.
Why Celadon? Go big or go home. Nope not too many ER peeps live there.
and how is the hacker bad guy dude? Still alive. Unfortunately. Still in the tent along with the other goons. Whether they figure out how to escape or not, Miguel don't care no more. Got Bigger Fish to Fry....Hurhur fish to fry
And Miguel don't like Pokeballs no more, nope nope. Would be wise not to bring any on this trip lest you have another trick incident.
Speaking of tricks, the mime still glows in the dark and can't put him in a pokeball to stay stealthy because the mime tricked it away long ago, hurrrr. I bet the ex-rogues are now regretting bringing him along
Zanny also found a lovely song for our two heroes
Miguel - Feeling much better now
Lucille- Sure wishing she payed more attention in geology class
Teddy - Is going to regret this adventure
Ada - Mama to Teddy's kids, Will kill Miguel When if Teddy dies

The moon still had a purpose, twas not her time yet u.u /
I am totally loving your reaction to everything though, very entertaining, very heart-warming to hear~
Who knows what was going on in that little brain of Small Fry's. Maybe he was helping her, maybe the remains of the moon could have made a good rocky helmet~ In the end, the moon is found to still be alive and much more useful than a rocky helmet until otherwise~
