I'd like to apologize to anyone I may offend buuuuuut.....

SOMEONE FUCKING END THAT GODFORSAKEN POKEMON ANIME

Again I'm sorry,but the anime has simply gone on for just TOO.DAMN.LONG!

Ordinarily I respect an anime, or any TV show that can go on for 650+ episodes but that's only if it remains interesting, which this one does not.

When it first came out I watched the show, and I played the games, and I still play the games,mostly because I LOVE turn based RPG's,but after awhile the show itself lost any interest.

To briefly summarize the show, the main character,Ash or Satoshi as he is known as in the Japanese media, enters a Pokemon region,catches a minimal amount of Pokemon,beats the gym leaders, takes part in some event where a terrorist group fails miserably to capture a legendary Pokemon, he then hears of a new Pokemon region and heads there,without ever actually fighting ANY of the elite four groups(he might encounter individual members but never the groups themselves),and when he reaches a new region he acquires new traveling companions whom are rather similar to his previous ones so the fact that he has new traveling companions is almost negligible,all the while he beats the living tar out of a certain trio on a daily basis,and in the event that he actually loses a Pokemon battle he compliments or congratulates his Pokemon for doing a good job,even though they got their assess whupped, Yeah that's not the slightest bit Patronizing,"Hey you didn't even damage the enemy,you did nothing useful,and now your in traction, BUT GOOD JOB".

Okay,the show is OVERLY repetitive and never does anything to keep people interested, the games actually try they invent new gimmick's for every generation, and they retain an element system,sure the games are a bit repetitive but they try to make the new one appealing, the anime is just "SAME SHIT DIFFERENT DAY", the main character catches only a couple of Pokemon,in spite of his proclamation to catch every single one,and despite their constant training and numerous battle's over half of them NEVER EVOLVE.And then there's the main Pokemon Pikachu, how is it physically possible for this thing to still lose battle's? They've stated numerous times that its ungodly more powerful than any normal Pikachu, and considering how long hes had it IT SHOULD BE LEVEL ONE-FRIGGIN-HUNDRED, and yet some random innocuous opponent WHO'S NEVER HAD ANY FORMAL TRAINING comes along and beats it to a pulp, FAIL!!!

And then the 'Villains' Team Rocket...............(sigh)
They came off originally as semi-competent and on some occasions they actually caused trouble, now they show up with some retarded scheme that focuses solely on 1 of the main characters Pokemon, only for the rest of the team to inflict copious amounts of pain upon them. The only reason they haven't been fired, or at least reduced to toilet duty, is every time a rival organization is stopped and disbands they take the credit, and boss believes it,considering how one could probably verify their claims the fact that he buys it show how incompetent or stupid he is.

Seriously though the only time there is some sort of plot or conflict is in the movies, the show it self is just going through the steps, and possesses nothing that would grip people, honestly tell me I'm wrong, tell me of one person who actually sat through the WHOLE anime up to it's present point and still remain interested, the only people I know of who watched season 1 that watch it now only do so because their CHILDREN watch it, yeah in the time since the show started the people who watched the first episodes have GROWN UP, and in all that time the main character of the anime hasn't even reached PUBERTY, it has a repetitive setting and thus a repetitive story and its old some put an end to it.

And with that I conclude my rant, again I apologize for any offense but those are my thoughts, I have nothing against Pokemon in general, just the anime, that never ends.
