The net is flooded with fanart based on the new movie. Too much for my taste, I love to see something really classic. It's extraordinary these days to see works like this card, because a lot of people seem to forget the real deal which is - for me at least - Shatner and Nimoy as Kirk and Spock. Don't get me wrong - Zachary Quinto's acting was good, just like Mr. Pine's. I like the new movie, but the "old" stuff shouldn't be replaced by it. That would be a shame.

Really I haven't noticed, I have noticed that a lot of fan art on that Twilight movie but not much with star trek, but I guess we just need to give it time...hehehe is will catch up Anyways I loved his artworks and the way he style his drawings and I just thought that he would do GREAT in drawing the new characters of the new star trek movie. It was only a suggestion. The new star trek movie just let an old series to be brought into the new generation with a lot of action and gorgeous actors and actress. It was fun to watch

Hey, it's always ok to make suggestions! No worries about that! As I said before, I had a lot of fun while watching the new movie. Guess it made me a bit sad to see a lot of fanart for ST XI, while TOS fell a bit behind. Hm... maybe it's because the old crew... they're the heroes of my youth, you know? I'm a bit afraid people will forget them about the new stuff which is, despite of that, really fabulous. But I guess that won't happen and we'll have a peaceful coexistence. *smiles*
