fantastic organic work, was it 3ds max you were using or another program?
I have dabbled in the organic work field myself, using povray and form and also bioform, although I am now using povray and a texture script I have written to create abstract moire patterns.
I am going to have to go back to trying organic work again as it is always fascinating.
keep up the good work and maybe you can check my gallery out (a bit sparse at present).
thanks

I love the green, You cant see its a render because its to perfect to be made in a sucky computer program.
I dig your style, especially the leaves on the bg are awesome

i like how you are not afraid to hide detail in shadows, so often people get so carried away with digital images and want to show off as much as possible, but don't realize it ends up messy. Nice use of low lights!

The clarity of this render is so awesome. This is quite fun to look at too because I can almost imagine it as a niche within my monitor. It seems like I could reach in my monitor and grab whatever is in the picture. Love it love it love it!

brilliant work man :]
your two pieces definately stood out of the pack in DC. both so clean and crisp.
colours in this are great. The ground texture is very convincing, but I find the leaves have maybe a bit too much bump. they look really really rough. Another thing is the DOF.. now, it might be all totally correct, but I cannot see why EVERYTHING is blurred towards the bottom. what with the focus distance I would have thought the ground should still be atleast mostly in focus etc, but everything blurs equally towards the bottom, which kind of flattens the depth.
I have to say I love the model for the "fruit" thing. very different, sleek and smooth. great work :]
I'm curious to know how long it takes you to make a scene such as this? and is this a pure render, or is there much post processing in PS? (apart from typo obviously)

Wonderful textures from glossy to leafy. The shapes are intriguing, as much machine as they are plant. Very cool!
