During writing up my coursework, I did something I've meant to do for a long time, and watched some Invader Zim for the first time.
Then I looked at the wiki.

The Zim-niverse is dangerously absorbing. I'm already writing in Irken o_o

This piece is based off of some gory info:
Irkens have a cybernetic ' pak' attached to their spine at birth..
If it's ever taken off, their body and mind shuts down, and they die after exactly ten minutes.

To be precise, their organ walls (primarily stomach)rupture,
and they slowly lose their memories and personality.

I feel quite connected to that idea, morbid though it be. because lately I've felt really weak and tired, and (having spent so much time asleep) am starting to feel somewhat unhinged from reality. Plus stomach rupture is probably the highest thing on the list of ways I'll eventually die.

I got my pak ripped off.
I just wish I could remember why...
