Okay so Will did not have his Ranger's cloak in this scene
but it's the scene where Will is tracking Evanlyn (prolly spelled her name wrong) after she was kidnapped. He has been stumbling barely able to follow the trail all night, finally about to stop for the night he considers making a fire when his exhausted mind notices that as he considers making a fire, he can smell one. Startled; he realizes he is near the camp where Evanlyn was taken.!!!END SPOILER!!!

Okay! This version is much better!! Thanks for the link. I love Ranger's Apprentice and it will always hold a special place in my heart. And as such, RA fan art rocks too since it reminds me of that and brings back fond memories of the first time I read those books and brings those characters to life since there's no movie or TV Show about them. And what with flops like the Eragon and Percy Jackson movies, I'm almost thankful! But enough rambling. This is a great picture and I love the snowy mountainside. Definitely suits the premise of the picture and Will looks awesome. Thanks for the link. I really appreciate it and keep up your fabulous art work!!

i love this!! the books are so good (i'm only on the 8th book though) was this scene in the 3rd or 4th book? i think i was the 4th, but i can't remember

Not to offend you or anything but I think that his knife is a little small. I understand the bow part since it's supposed to be a small hunting bow, also where's his quiver of arrows?

This is from Battle for Skandia... Where the only knife he had was tiny, and a small ridiculous bit of hunting arrows, which in this instance are strung from the belt over his should, If he draws his bow with his right hand, as I would guess, then they would be handing directly by his right shoulder which would make the tiny quiver hidden by not only his cloak, but his body.

His weapons seem a bit small, mainly the knife. Love the wrinkles in his cloak- they look very realistic!
