Description
Finally finished painting my D&D character: Jhamin, a half-elf ranger. Started this ages ago but had a few problems along the way that meant I only just got around to finishing him. I think he worked out OK, and I learned a few useful things about new blending mode workflows (hint: ‘overlay’ rocks), but still have a long way to go. The whole sketch-lineart-values-colours method I’ve been trying is annoyingly…rigid, at times, and there’s still to much reliance on line in this whole piece.
