Description
This one was actually just a lighting test with 3dsmax's default lights and scanline. it has 100+ omni lights simulating the bouncing light. Even with so many lights it was still faster to render than with modern GI-calculations. Pretty cool, huh?
I made this in 2003 aswell.

Actually, it was at least 2 times faster than a real GI calculation..

Incredible...the only thing that looks a tad out of place is the tablecloth, because it sits a bit stiff like it's made out of clay or something...but otherwise, a fantastic piece!!

Very nice lighting, its soft enough to create the appearance that this is more of a photo than a plain 3D render, the lighting is not to harsh (as it sometimes can be with 3D renders) very nice stuff man

As for the test scene, I have to admit, it looks perfectly composed. I'm generally amazed with it, though I think that the ceiling is too much highlighted for the ambient light coming from the window, but maybe that's just my ipression
