Description
This is a very special piece of work done for A certain somebody at Nintendo of Canada.I wish I could give this to you guys at a bigger resolution, but I had to keep this small for the sake of printing options. I still think it's just big enough to see the best parts of the image, but if it's not, I'll upload the individual character portraits a bit later.
Ganon was a hoot to draw. I just love illustrating monsters. Link was co-operative, but I had to draw the pose several times to get it right. Zelda... I don't like drawing Zelda. Her face is weird. And as for Navi, well, she's just a ball of light with fairy wings. No big effort there.
This image took me about a week of 4-5 hours a day worth of work to complete. After that, I need a break.

Amazing!! I remember some1 once told me they played the game without doin this fight, my reaction wasn't "mah... glitch" i looke him in the eye and said "You've never PLAYED it then" The satisfaction after that fight was enormous, thanx for the nostalgia bro!!

you should give Zelda a more gentle turn of her eyes but anyways the rest of it is stunning I especially like the detail given to Ganon

Awesome job! I'm currently working on my own drawing of this battle (this will be the third time I've drawn the scene since the game came out), but I'm having a difficult time getting Ganon's head to look right from straight-on. This is quite inspiring.

When playing OOT 64, I never noticed how detailed Ganon was.
After all, the scene was uncomfortably hard to see even occasional flashes of lightning helped out for a split second and 64 graphics weren't that good (though back then it was awesome)
You caught the detail well too so...
I'm betting that according to what I saw graphics-wise via the 3DS that Ganon may look just like this instead of a strange squarely blur of green-grey anger.

Ha ha ha! XD Yes, from what I've seen of the 3DS version of OOT on Youtube Ganon is quite nicer looking and you can see how vicious he looks. Quite the intimidating fellow.

Thank you! Yeah, I don't think I have ever seen anyone draw link with his Golden Gauntlets before. I think I made the right call there.
I was debating if I should have Link don the Mirror Shield too, but I thought I'd try going for as classic as I could and draw what was most familiar. Looking back on it now, drawing the Mirror Shield probably would have made things easier on myself. XD Oh well. Save it for nest time I suppose.

When are commissions open? I have no frakking idea. Probably when people stop asking me for things so I can get some blasted art for myself done. I'm waaaaaaay behind schedule for my own musings. By about a year.
Better ask someone else about that commission.

Yeah, the graphics for the Ganon tail in the original Ocarina of Time looked kind of odd, didn't they? I agree that the fight was quite satisfactory.
