Ryu and Chara are actually really deep bounded, Ryu at least.
For Ryu is Chara the only important person in the world. He doesn't care about anything else. As you can also always see is Ryu (until now) always disinterested in everything, simply smiling the whole time with half lidded 'eye sockets'
The whole world could burn down but as long as Chara doesn't get hurt Ryu wouldn't give a damn about it. His only existence is to be with Chara and that is also how he feels.
They aren't kissing now or stuff like that, but when they are together they never let go of each other, keeping bodycontact the whole time, even sleeping together but everything without a sexual intent.

I'm not sure but she's programmed and from the game. It's like her age is programmed but theoretically she has 3 ages at the same time. So this is not pedophilic
