Here is a basic hair tutorial I whipped up this evening. Its quite sloppy and I'm not the best teacher, but several people have requested this from me so here it is!

Step 9 is the "last step"... but I encourage everyone who attempts painting hair to work further than that. The blue thing is just a goofy extra... don't ask why I did that, bwahaha.

I never considered making a brush of many tiny dots to quickly get tons of small strokes! I'll be sure to try it.

it seems easy to follow, but for people like me who dont know what opacity, flow, brush, settings, what u mean by blending its not all that clear. I am a traditional painter looking to start digital but no one ever actually has a walk through. Is taht something u can add to this?

in the tutorial you "smoothed" the hair a few times...what exactly did you use for that? did you start using a soft brush over your strands, did you use blur tool or did you smudge? its a wonderful and very helpful but lacks the specifics....^_^. still a wonderful job though!

Wow I have looked at all your tutorials and they are amazing! I just wondered tho, I am really new to this so may seem like a dumb question, can you get the effect with a mouse or are they all done with a pen thingy?
