Well, there's also Chinese calendar and Islamic calendar. I think the rule just apply for business people who need that calendar

Yes there are other calendars, and if either of those calendars were the most accepted around the world, it would be just as arbitrary as the Christian calendar. All cultures make calendars based on some important event, because what else can we do? We need to agree on some calendar, just so we can communicate effectively about all things time sensitive. Where a calendar comes from isn't as important as what it can do for us. When everybody accepted the Christian calendar, it gave the world a common language for time! If we all had one language to speak about everything else, imagine how much smaller the world would seen, and how much better we could communicate with other countries and cultures. China has actually done this. The country has nearly 300 languages, but there is one "simplified Chinese" that makes it much easier for everybody to communicate.
