Thank you Faisal. When I go on location somewhere, and I want to shoot fast without too much set-up and take down, I use a combination of available light and a standard flash-unit bounced from an umbrella I hand-hold right by my camera. This is the only time I actually use old fashioned umbrellas. They are small and easy to carry, but they greatly enhance the quality of light over using direct flash.
